Sunday Walks coming up
12th October - Midhurst and Cowdray park
An amble around the historic town of Midhurst with time to explore the side streets and buildings, plus a chance
to view or visit the ruins of Cowdray, combined with a walk along the river Rother.
Start Time: 10:30am - Whistle Stop Car Park for car-share
19th October - Brighton Day-Trip
Drive to Brighton, walk the cliffs, take a ride on the world's first and oldest surviving public electric railway,
stroll along the prom and - time permitting - visit Devil's Dyke, the well known beauty spot and South Downs
viewpoint.
NOTE - Start Time: 9:00am - Whistle Stop Car Park for car share
26th October - Stoughton and Kingley Vale
A new walk for us around the nature reserve and nearby areas with many attractions - an ancient forest,
tumuli, hill walking and, according to legend, an opportunity to spot the Devil himself!

Special Walk - Wednesday 22nd October
Mike D will lead the Petersfield Walking to Health group on a walk around Liss. Please
come and join in to renew acquaintances or make new friends. Please note this walk will be subject to the
usual Walking to Health rules. Refreshments afterwards at the Whistle Stop.

Spuds 4 Us - Saturday 1st November
To celebrate our third anniversary, Pam and Ken have kindly invited us to join them at their
home for a feast of baked, filled spuds and dessert. Bring your own tipple. You may walk from the Whistle
Stop, drive and park at Pam and Ken's in order to join the walk from the Flying Bull, or simply drive without
walking. Book before-hand with Mike or Pam and express your preference for walk-length. Price £5 per head for
food.
Start 2:00pm from Whistle Stop, 3:00pm from Flying Bull or drive to arrive at 4:00pm
Saturday 13th December - Anny and Michael At Home
It will be Open-House with Anny and Michael during the early evening for a
pre-Christmas celebration. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the festive spirit. More details later.
